Yoga in the Office, Daycare, and School
Office Yoga is one of the best ways to take a well-deserved break from work. Jenny can come to your workplace on your lunch break or at a moment convenient to your coworkers. Having worked in an office setting before becoming a Yoga teacher, Jenny remembers all the most important areas of the body to stretch, and allows you do find some peace and relaxation in what is likely an otherwise chaotic day. Rates vary, contact me for details.
Private Yoga and Yoga Therapy
The word “Yoga” means union, the union of the body, mind and spirit, and Yoga Therapy works with all parts of us. We are looking at the big picture, not just treating a symptom as they do in most other healing modalities. A sore knee, for example, is about much more than just a sore knee and a Yoga Therapist will help you learn more about your body and anything else that comes up in that process. Yoga Therapy aims to reduce the suffering you might be experiencing as a result of a particular injury or symptom and managing a symptom if it can’t be reduced.
One on one Therapeutic Yoga is tailored to suit you. Whether you have a sore back or shoulder, tight hips or hamstrings, suffering from anxiety, depression, fertility issues, pregnancy-related pains or postpartum adjustment, I work with all parts of you to restore balance. While physical asanas are part of Yoga Therapy, sessions can include breathing techniques, meditation, stress management and goal setting.
$75 per session (60-90mins) or $300 for a package of 5 sessions. Insurance receipts are available.
